The Willis is an odd card. It has a weird plastic 49ers Helmet. Kind of reaching for this one aren't you Donruss?

What's that? There seems to be a hit and some inserts missing? Well, you are right. The Bent Corner Fairy visited this box just like it has in the past. I was so ticked, I packaged them up right away and sent them off.
The hit was a Jumbo Swatch Jonathan Stewart /50. This card didn't have a bent corner, it had a machine damage mark on the bottom that was causing the picture to lift off the board.

They went out today back to Donruss, I will keep you updated. The corners were not just pushed in, it looked like they had been bent around an edge. This is getting ridiculous. If you remember from a previous bread, all of my serial numbered cards were damaged. Its only a dollar or two to send them back, but I shouldn't have to. I would write to their quality assurance department, but I don't want to be perceived as trying to extort free packs out of them. Plus its a pain in the ass. Receipt, Panel off top of box with the printed number on it, etc, etc. Obviously this costs Donruss money too, so I bet they are looking into this. This isn't limited to my boxes, the Baseball Threads break over at SCU had many damaged corners as well.
