2006 Topps Finest Football Box 2 of 3 Review Break

Box 2 of 3

The little black one is a Jack Russell/Black Lab. He is fully grown. We had 5-6 inches of nice powdery snow and then the freezing rain started. We have 1-3 inches of frozen rain on top of the snow. The little guy can't break through and slides around on top of the ice. I had to pick him up and carry him to the street so he could actually walk.

Box Topper: Johnny Unitas

The Base set: I was 72 of 150 for the set. I didn't get any doubles within the second box, but did get 28 more toward my set. It seems like Topps would do "opposite boxes" meaning that they would make it so the boxes don't overlap so much. Don't get me wrong, I am glad I got a second Devin Hester, but can do without 2-3 of the commons. Anyway, I am now at 100 of 150 for the set:

Rookie Autos: Greg Jennings Green Refractor Awesome!, Joe K. and Drew Olsen

Regular Refractors: Brandon Marshall

Brett Favre: These cards are slightly better in the finest series because there are less of them. Regular Topps and chrome suck because there is one for every damn touchdown he had thrown up until the cards were made. Just like in Baseball with Mantle, Bonds and Arod, the regular topps issue is no better than the stay in school filler cards.

Best Hit so far is the Greg Jennings Green Refractor auto. Screw the printing plate of a nobody.
