Personally, I don't think they're lying. I'm not sure why anyone would take the time to come up with a story like that. You'd have to be one really bored person.
If somebody busted a case or two and got both those cards I would have no problem believing it. Its just that the guy bought two packs and got the bird and then bought a blaster and got the russell.

A Russell? Out of a Target blaster? doubtful.
But why lie? it doesn't make it any more impressive.

I pulled a tinted corvette from a Vietnam Vet, and have a possible placement as a hospital patient, if those two pulled those.
