Anyone interested in a monthly baseball break?

SCU does a monthly football break but no one does baseball. Here is how it would work: $15 a team. Mid to high product. Spa, spx, finest, threads, etc. You would probably see combos like 1 box prime cuts two boxes Allen and ginter etc.

Now for the options.
Option 1: random team assigned every month.
But because we have so many team collectors.
Option 2: permanent teams. Assigned first come first serve basis. I think this would work because even the nationals and brewers have fans.

Let me know what you think.

I'd be interested, but I'd also like to go back to the serpentine/card pull format that you used for Finest. Of course, even if you choose team format, I'm in.

Yeah, I'd be down for a monthly break. You can just go ahead and give me the Orioles now.

I would be in for my Braves, as long as the card quantity would be decent...

The main reason that I would hesitate would be the lack of inclusion of the White Sox in mid to high level product.

I think it is more fun to get a random team. I'm a lifelong Phillies fan, but am always interested in getting a high-end card of a star or hot rookie.

I'd be interested too - but I don't know how many Reds are in high end products now that Griffey is back in Seattle...

I'd be interested in a permanent team format because other than the Red Sox or players that I collect, I'd just end up with cards that I would sell or trade away.

I'd be interested if I'm assigned the Dodgers. Don't have a whole lot of interest in getting random cards of sets I'm not collecting.

Most teams have nice hits in high end because of retired players and prospects. The static team format seems to encourage people to come back month after month. If I was unable to fill up some teams I could spread the cost and random the open teams off.

If you think about it the mix of high and mid allows a shot at a nice card while allowing each person to get cards of players they want. $15 is 5 packs of cards, but instead you are getting 2 boxes of your favorite team. Take the whitesox. You have a shot at fisk, baines, big frank and others. The brewers have young and molly.

Maybe I could do one month random and the next static just to keep it interesting.

The serpantine break was cool, but it's a ton of work. I mean a ton of work. I might do one in the future but I'm not sure.

Consider me "In like Flynn" for the Brewers. Great idea.

I'm in for the Indians if we have a permanent team. I'd be in reguardless. $15 a month sounds good to me.

i'd be interested. the problem with the static break is that multiple people may want the same team.

I'd like the Yankees or Reds

You can put me down for the Cubs. If I think of it as buying a blaster a month I can justify spending the money.

Oops, I see now that you took the Cubs. Guess I'm out of luck.
