I'll consider it. You'll have to get back to me if they actually ship the cases. I say they do; ebay feedback is probably very important to them. Unless, that is, there's some ebay provision that lets them not ship stuff that was 'incorrectly' listed.
Well $650 is $650, its not like its $6.50 or .99. Anyway, I buy most of my cards from DA. The only things I did not buy from them was my A and G Case, murad case and the Finest Baseball Group Break case. So we will see what they do.
I don't get it. That's still about $46 a box. Didn't you pay less than that for most of your baseball boxes?I think their site prices are always higher.
what kind of $$$ are we talking about? for boxes? or for a case break by team, etc...
HallThe Hockey Boxes are quite different. Yes I paid less for the baseball boxes, but the Hockey boxes are quite different and much more expensive. I haven't seen boxes for less that $63. Some have sold for less on ebay, but when you include shipping $60 is the cheapest.CaptainI don't think there are enough Hockey fans out there to do a group break, but I might sell off boxes from one case for $52 plus shipping. I would charge my canada friends ACTUAL shipping. What do these boxes go for up there? Just curious it wouldn't affect ho much I charge.
'm not at all a hockey guy myself but after seeing how much some of those Crosby, oveckhin , orr ETC.. cards go for it makes me wanna grab some hockey every time I'm at the shop! Can anyone tell me why the hockey stars are going for o much $ ? there's definetly some good hits in that case for $650 I would think. Grant
I'd grab it if I had the xtra cash to throw around looks the 1st link you posted is already gone its says on ebay item ended due to buy it now. Grant
Grant, I bought them both, that's why the auctions ended due to BIN.The Hockey stars go for quite a bit because the fan base is smaller but rabid. The great thing about this masterpieces set are all the greats that are included. I had gotten a quote from DA on a case of Champs and was thinking of pulling the trigger when I ran across these auctions.
One more thought. This is a product where you have a real shot at paying for the case or close to it with one card. When i say real shot, not a good one, but it can be done Hockey and basketball are the easiest to do that with. Baseball is damn near impossible. Football isn't much easier.Maybe its that there are fewer players or that there are a ton of huge hockey stars.
Iv'e notced that as well. I bought a box of stadium club basketball and was lucky enough to pull the greg Oden Xfractor Auto R/C I'm a Blazer fan so I'm keeping the card but I could have sold it at theat time and made a little $ on it. it defnetly paid for the bx. I have done much better on basketball. I have'nt pulled anythin of great value in basball I got a Aikman/ N Ryan signature connections #/25 out of threads and a few auto's here and there but I'm learning that basball you really have to pick a good product or you can spend a fortune and get nothing. I liked the finest break and at least you get a patch and a redemtion I got #1 and #5 and a parnell patch so Far I might buy a few more of those. I'm kind of wathcing the products this year before I go crazy lie last year.
I did buy a box of 09' Goudey at the shop though and pulled a Gamel R/C auto and a Joe nathan GU'S the nice part about the box was a ot a lot of SP'S and Mini SP'S which was cool. I'll post the pics on my blog as soon as I fix this scanner. I bought a pack of 09 signature basketball and pulled a refractor D. Rose and slowly looked and saw the auto and got really excited till I noticed it was some kind of facsinly auto? Why in the hell due they make those anyway? /869 I only noticed it becuase the real auto was Rudy gay and I seen the diffrence! shows how long IV'e been out of the collecting loop! rant
BTW I got that money transfered into my paypal tonight so I'll take a spot on the basball SS break so I have 2 on the football and 1 on the basall I'm not sure how long it takes for paypal to transer the funds though. Grant
