Another interesting fake or no?

This Jerry West Card.

To the best of my recollection these were all hand numbered to 2500 or similar and there was NO HOLOGRAM on the back except for the regular basketball hologram that was found on the back of all Upper Deck cards. Plus they were signed in blue ink, but I could be wrong on that fact. Anyway, the seller is trying too hard to make it look legit.

Same goes for this Ted Williams.

In regards to the Ted Williams; for all of the 90s "Heroes" inserts, UD only had the player sign the checklist card. This card looks like it was pulled out of a pack, un-signed, then signed by Williams at a later date.

I'm not as familiar with the West, but I have no reason to believe that it is an authentic Jerry West signature.

The West was signed in blue and individually numbered on the front. Had only the regular UD hologram on the back. I remember them from I worked in the card shop. Having read Card Sharks I wouldn't be surprised if UD took some and had them signed and sold them on the HSN or something.

I have the Ted Williams Auto and the differences were that they were only signed on the checklist cards and the hologram on the back is different when compared to the regular checklist cards. I saw the black one that is extremely faded on ebay now and I think that one is real.

The Jerry West checklist has a different hologram for the auto. That one is a fake. The hologram on the Jerry West autos match the ones on the baseball ones...same goes for the football ones.

Hope this helps!
