The Panini/Manning Confusion

It was reported earlier that Panini had signe the brother Peyton to an exclusive sticker auto license as to be expected with 2010 Panini Epix Fail due out shortly.  Turns out he is a spokesman person:

ARLINGTON, Texas (August 11, 2010) - Panini America (www.paniniamerica.net), a subsidiary of The Panini Group, the leading global publisher of sports and entertainment collectables announced today that four-time NFL MVP and Indianapolis Colts Quarterback Peyton Manning will serve as the company's official NFL spokesman and trading card ambassador.

Manning will be featured on Panini's 2010 NFL/NFLPA packaging, advertising and point-of-sale initiatives including the official NFL sticker/sticker album and NFL Adrenalyn, an interactive trading card game set to debut in August. Manning's autograph and game used materials will also appear in Panini Football products. Panini will also work with Manning's charity, The Peyback Foundation.

Manning joins five-time NBA Champion Kobe Bryant as a Panini spokesperson and trading card ambassador.
