It's possible I guess. It would explain the numbering to /2. I guess we take them at their word on this one.Seriously though, the mem market would be totally revitalized if they would just put which game this stuff came from. Even crappy single color swatches would have value if collectors knew it came from a big win. It's obviously certified to the card companies as being from a specific game, why can't that info be passed onto us?
Overall the card looks nice....however I think this whole jersey concept needs to be sterilized and put away for a good number of years. I do propose a different idea regarding the auto's- make the auto's more "personalized" so to speak. Have redemptions for the athlete to sign the card with what you want to see on it. I dunno...just tired of seeing the "jersey mojo" crap.
I totally agree with G, if they just put what game the stuff was worn in it would make a huge difference. Imagine how much a piece of a jersey from a Superbowl game would be worth. People would probably pay 100's even for game worn linemen Jersey's. No offense to linemen, just in the grand scheme of things they are low on the totem pole when it comes to demand for cards.
